Anas Issa

Dr. Anas Issa is the Research Engineer at the Green Construction Research and Training Centre (GCRTC) at The University of British Columbia (UBC Okanagan). For the last eight years, Dr. Issa has been extensively involved in research related to development of self-centring bracing systems, smart materials and their structural applications, vulnerability assessment of buildings and seismic rehabilitation techniques. His research is focused on the development of innovative spring & piston based self-centering bracing systems for enhanced dynamic performance of buildings.
