Postdoctoral Research FellowHan Li
Han is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of British Columbia. She received her B.Eng., M.Eng., and Ph.D. degrees in Civil Engineering from Tongji University. Her research focuses on seismic isolation technologies for short- and medium-span bridges and the seismic resilience of isolated bridges at liquefaction-prone sites. Her current work includes developing seismic isolation bearings using smart materials, investigating the mechanical performance of steel-mesh-reinforced elastomeric isolation bearings, and assessing the seismic resilience of bridges subjected to soil liquefaction.
